The most recent International Justicia Hidrica Researchers Meeting (IV) was held from 13-16 November 2012 in Cusco – Peru. Researchers from many countries worldwide discussed their investigations on water accumulation, social differentiation, water conflicts, and grassroots strategies. Cases, themes and concepts were analysed and deepened, and comparative water justice studies were presented and new ones programmed. This years’ key themes were Power relations and processes of water accumulation, Agro-business and water extraction, and Monitoring systems for capacity building initiatives and participation of professionals in the Water Justice/Justicia Hídrica network.
